Mazeppa bay is every fisherman's dream with a wide variety of fish species. Species include Garrick, Kob, Galjoen, Bronze bream, Queenfish, Mackerel and Musselcracker.
For many years, The island at Mazeppa has been famous for its catches of big game fish and sharks. However, angling at Mazeppa is not limited to The Island. There are several good spots along the shore, including Shark Point, Carlisle Gully and the Boiling Pot
